Lavender Lupin — Original Mini Watercolor

Lupins are wildly dramatic for such a simple flower. Tall, spiky, impossibly purple — they demand bold color and I was happy to oblige. This lavender lupin was painted on a morning when I was feeling ambitious. The ink lines are loose, the color is rich, and I love how it turned out.
