Chicks, Chairs and Libraries — Free Watercolor Tutorial

Painting interiors this week. Tough for me and I struggle with furniture always! Perspective with pillows and cushions make everything tricky. Light hands and color to start and bolder as I want to finish.

Step 1 — Gentle shades of watercolor for the layout. Light hands. Just a whisper of color to find your composition.
Step 2 — A little ink for structure. Imperfect is best. Let the pen wander. Furniture is forgiving when you hold it loose.
Step 3 — Color for magic. Be bold. This is where it all comes alive. Don't be shy with it.
