Painting interiors this week. Tough for me and I struggle with furniture always! Perspective with pillows and cushions make everything tricky. Light hands and color to start and bolder as I want to finish.
Step 1
Gentle shades of watercolor for the layout
Light hands. Just a whisper of color to find your composition.
Step 2
A little ink for structure. Imperfect is best.
Let the pen wander. Furniture is forgiving when you hold it loose.
Step 3
Color for magic. Be bold.
This is where it all comes alive. Don’t be shy with it.
